CSECO Contraband Detection Equipment is Safe for Users

Campbell/Harris Security Equipment Company (CSECO) uses the best of the current technology in ensuring the accuracy, dependability and the durability of its line of contraband detection equipment. At the same time, though, the company also wants to ensure the safety of whoever will use its products, as well as the safety of the environment.

As a gesture of growing concern towards human and environmental safety, CSECO has worked hard to improve its products and continues to do so.

Here are two of the products that CSECO has upgraded to become absolutely safe for use and for the environment:

Buster K910G Density Meter

A newer version of the Buster K910B Density Meter, the Buster K910G has retained some of the former's functions and features. These include, of course, the low-intensity gamma radiation and scintillation detector, which enables the Buster to scan a variety of suspicious objects (from vehicles to buildings to liquids) and to detect different types of contraband (from narcotics to cash to explosives). Buster's state-of-the-art technology enables it to scan quickly and provide accurate results whether or not that suspicious object carry contraband inside it.

The Buster also helps in protecting every living organism and the whole environment. How? A lot of ways!

Apart from detecting contraband, the Buster K910G density meter also detects the dangerous amounts of radiation, thanks to its RAD-Aware technology. As soon as radiation is detected, the first responder will establish safety perimeters so that other inspectors, as well as civilians, will be kept safely away from the traces of a dirty bomb or other radioactive leaks.

The Buster K910G is a big improvement over its predecessor. It now has a 7.5 microcurie Barium 133 source -- in other words, a radioactive source -- which is at least 25% less than that of our competitors. In addition, the lead-based internal components that are in the K910B are now non-existent in the K910G. The physical attributes of the K910G will render it safer to use anywhere by inspectors.

Perfect Vision V20 Videoscope Inspection System

The most prominent thing about the Perfect Vision V20 Videoscope Inspection System is the 5-inch high-resolution color LCD display with a variety of controls like the push-button dimming and digital zoom. Its large monitor will allow the user to see the suspicious object or area clearly while maintaining their visibility on their immediate surroundings. This means the user will have fewer chances to suffer eye fatigue or fail to notice if something happens during their inspection.

Fiberscopes, on the other hand, feature only an eyepiece into which the user has to squint in order to inspect the suspicious area, thus creating strain in the eyes. This one-piece videoscope also features a neck strap which the inspector wears to carry and use it. Unfortunately, if the law enforcement officer is squinting into a fiberscope, they may not notice the driver trying to flee the scene or any other occurrence going on around them.

What is the most distinguishable safety aspect of the Perfect Vision V20 Videoscope? The Underwriters Laboratory, the world leader in product testing and safety, has declared that the Perfect Vision V20 Videoscope Inspection System has passed all its standards and requirements and therefore declared the equipment as "certified safe."

When the UL says this videoscope is safe, it means that interdiction officers can use it in dangerous areas, without fear of accidentally igniting or even exploding while -- even on objects or in places where it can be flammable such as gas tanks.

CSECO has continued to strive to promote safety in its line of contraband detection equipment. The Buster K910G Density Meter and the Perfect Vision V20 Videoscope Inspection System are absolutely safe to use anytime, anywhere, and under most circumstances.
