Perfect Vision V20 Videoscope: The First UL Certified Videoscope

The Perfect Vision V20 Videoscope Inspection System by Campbell/Harris Security Equipment Company (CSECO) is the first videoscope that is certified by the Underwriters Laboratory. This Videoscope Inspection System is certified safe in hazardous areas such as fuel tanks. The videoscope is fuel-proof and water-resistant as well as resistant to gasoline, diesel fuel, and oil. Its probe has two-way articulation (meaning it is multi-directional), is 6mm in diameter and 2 meters long, and is attached to a LCD VGA display that is 5″ (12.7cm). The unit is being useful for law enforcement and US Customs and Border Protection agents in routine searches for contraband or other visual inspections in vehicles and containers coming into the United States. These also include border patrol situations and drug raids, among others.

The Underwriters Laboratories (UL) has been in the business of certifying the safety of electrical components since 1894. They do rigorous testing before placing their widely-recognized stamp of approval on a product, so you know when it has been certified safe by UL, it is going to be safe for you to use.

The Perfect Vision V20 Videoscope’s probe, at only 6mm, is small enough to be snaked into a surprising range of tight places, including between walls, inside doors, behind car dashboards, and other narrow locations that would be difficult to visually inspect without the help of a device such as this one. It includes the ability to capture still photos or video of the inspection digitally, for use with law enforcement and in courtrooms. It is able to capture and store up to 8,000 photos or 4 to 6 hours of video on an SD card.

LED light assists with visibility and is adjustable in intensity. Digital zoom allows the viewer to see items that might otherwise be too distant to accurately assess. The features are controlled through push-buttons and an on-screen menu. The power supply is a rechargeable battery. It will usually last for up to six hours of operation. The charger that comes with the videoscope system will fully charge the battery from completely dead in about two hours. And, a complimentary spare battery is included just in case you need it.

There are other components that are included with your Videoscope, including a sun shield, a neck strap, and a spare 8GB SD card for photo or video storage.

CSECO’s Perfect Vision V20 Videoscope is the next step in technology for visual inspection. If your law enforcement agency is using an older videoscope or fiberscope, you may want to get the information about CSECO’s Fiberscope Trade-In Program so you can ensure your agents are using today’s newest, safest videoscope: the Perfect Vision V20 Videoscope Inspection System.
