The Buster Density Meter Outshines the Rest

When law enforcement agents are battling against something that is a big menace to society — such as narcotics and illegal drugs — they need something dependable that will help them through these tough challenges. The Buster K910G Density Meter is ready to help.

Campbell/Harris Security Equipment Company (CSECO) is involved in the nationwide fight against illegal drugs and contraband by providing their contraband detection tools. The first of these is their flagship product, the Buster density meter with the first version, the Buster K910B, earning accolades and recommendations from most law enforcement and drug interdiction agents across the United States. Because of this, the Buster has been hailed as the “gold standard” in density meters and contraband detection equipment.

CSECO has recently released the newest version of the Buster, the K910G, which still retains the features and functions of the K910B. These include the low-intensity gamma radiation and scintillation detector which enables the user to quickly scan vehicles, containers, buildings and anything else that’s suspected of carrying hidden contraband. It can even scan organic matter like liquids and soil. Speaking of “quickly scan,” the Buster allows the user to ascertain whether the suspected vehicle tests positive of carrying the contraband within five minutes and an average-sized room within 10 minutes.

The same technologies have also made the Buster to detect several types of hidden contraband such as narcotics, illegal drugs, cash, alcohol, weapons, and explosives. Other contraband detection equipment using the other technology (such as millimeter wave, microwave, radio waves and ultraviolet wave) can only detect one or a couple types of hidden contraband.

The Buster not only detects hidden contraband but it can also detect radioactive leaks, thanks to its other technology, RAD-Aware. As soon as the inspectors (first responders) detect dirty bombs or any other radioactive leaks, they will set up safety parameters to keep other inspectors and civilians safe and away from the harms brought about by radioactivity.

The Buster K910G has been remarkably improved from K910B. Unlike other competing density meters, the Buster K910G has been made safer not just for the users, but for other living organisms as well and the whole environment. It now has a significantly smaller radioactive source (at least 25% less than the competitors), faster electronics, and has zero lead-based internal components. And, last but not the least, the Buster was designed and tested by CSECO’s founder, Patrick Campbell, with the help of the Customs and Border Protection agents themselves.

These are the factors that have made the Buster K910G maintain its place as the “gold standard” of contraband detection equipment. Clearly, the Buster Density Meter outshines the rest of the density meters on the market today.
